Fidelity SecureFire reaffirms commitment to exceptional private firefighting services

GAUTENG - Fidelity SecureFire, launched in 2023 as part of the Fidelity Services Group, proudly reaffirms its dedication to delivering world-class private firefighting solutions—offering exceptional value without compromising on safety or quality.

Wahl Bartmann, Group CEO of Fidelity Services Group, stated:

“By becoming part of the Fidelity SecureFire family, customers gain access to highly trained, professional firefighting teams—on standby 24/7. Our personnel include qualified fire specialists and experienced responders, supported by a fleet of purpose-built emergency vehicles engineered for rapid deployment and high-impact performance.”

At the heart of Fidelity SecureFire’s national capability is the Fidelity Fire National Command Centre—a groundbreaking, real-time operations hub that sets a new industry standard. Powered by AI-based risk analysis, predictive incident modelling, and live data monitoring, the centre enables intelligent deployment of resources, anticipating fire threats before they escalate.

“We don’t just respond—we predict, prevent, and optimise,” said Bartmann. “Our systems track fire trends, weather patterns, infrastructure risks, and local response metrics to ensure maximum efficiency and agility during emergencies.”

Fidelity SecureFire operates in full compliance with International firefighting standards, and its personnel are certified, competent, and equipped to meet the highest operational expectations.

However, despite growing public demand for reliable private firefighting services, some municipalities have raised objections—wrongly claiming such services are unlawful. Fidelity SecureFire strongly disputes these claims.

“After extensive legal consultation, we are confident that no existing laws prohibit or restrict the lawful provision of private firefighting services,” Bartmann confirmed.

He also emphasised that Fidelity SecureFire is not a replacement for municipal fire departments.

“Our services are complementary. We respond only when formally engaged through contractual agreements—similar to how private security firms operate. Our customers choose us voluntarily, seeking enhanced protection tailored to their specific needs.”

Despite ongoing resistance from certain municipal entities, Fidelity SecureFire remains firm in its mission to deliver cutting-edge, customer-centric fire protection services—helping shape one of South Africa’s most critical and fast-evolving industries.

“To our customers, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment. No external pressure—municipal or otherwise—will deter us from protecting you, your property, and your peace of mind,” Bartmann concluded.
