Kaizer Chiefs Reserve Team are DSTV Diski Challenge Champions

NATURENA - Kaizer Chiefs Reserve Team has been crowned DSTV Diski Challenge Champions with a historic 70 points — the highest ever in the league’s history.

The Reserve side didn’t just win, it made history - proving to be unstoppable in the league.

Meanwhile, the Senior side under the guidance of coach Nasreddine Nabi, continues to struggle with hopes to finish at least in the top eight of the Betway Premiership.

However, despite a poorly foreseeable league ending again, the Glamour Boys still have a chance to cheer their fans up as they hope to end the trophy drought when they face Orlando Pirates in the final of the Nedbank Cup at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, 10 May.

The Buccaneers will be the favourites to win this Cup Final after edging Chiefs to a 2-1 victory on 3 May.
