JUST IN: Truck crash and diesel spillage cause total road closure of N1

JOHANNESURG - Following the earlier motor vehicle accident involving two trucks on the N1 South before Maraisburg Road, the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) has confirmedt that all lanes of the N1 South are closed to traffic. According to JMPD, this closure is necessary to allow emergency personnel to safely manage the scene and clear the diesel spillage and overturned vehicle. "Three slight injuries have been reported, and one of the trucks has overturned, spilling diesel. Emergency personnel and Law Enforcement are on scene, and initially, three lanes were affected and closed off, causing heavy delays. "All lanes of the N1 South are currently closed before Maraisburg Road. Vehicles are being diverted at Gordon Road. Significant and heavy traffic congestion is being experienced on the N1 South and surrounding areas," said JMPD. #JusticeForCwecwe: Tshenolo PI looking to help crack the Bergview College rape case

GAUTENG - Tshenolo Private Investigation (PI) has availed its services to help crack the intricate Bergview College rape case.

A principal of a school in the Eastern Cape has been accused of raping a seven-year-old girl. Unfortunately, justice has been delayed as the accused sought defence from Afriforum and denied authorities DNA samples.


"We have watched and observed the story Cwecwe and we have weighed all possible options, we are going to help where we can.

"We are going to throw our weight in the deep end. It can't be normal that a female person cannot be violated and we keep quiet moreover she's only just 7. We are making the necessary arrangements to contact the family and see how we can help them," the reputable organization said.

Meanwhile, the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) Women's Brigade has condemned this incident labeling it a 'vile act of Gender-Based Violence (GBV)'.

DURBAN - A family Pitbull was stabbed in the chest after it attacked four members of a family aged between 10 and 76. Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received several  frantic calls for immediate assistance from residents from Tottenham Road in Parkgate about. 17:41 on Friday afternoon.  Reaction Officers and Paramedics converged on the scene and  found four people that had suffered extensive injuries and blood loss after being attacked by a 2.5 year old Pitbull named Patches. Paramedics stabalized and expedited the injured to a local hospital.  Reaction Officers found Patches on the premise with a stab wound to the chest. Eleven suspects intercepted for illegal mining in Gauteng

KINSGWAY - The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Intervention Unit Officers in conjunction with EMPD K9 Unit Officers, arrested 11 undocumented foreign nationals males between the ages of twenty (20) and fifty(50) years old, for illegal mining and contravention of the Immigration Act in the Kingsway area on Tuesday, 7 May.   According to EMPD, Officers carried out a sting operation as part to help curb the high number of illegal mining activities in the City of Ekurhuleni.
